Crane Building
The focal point in this monumental 19th Century building is the Crane Room. Water damage and time caused this gem to decay dramatically from its original splendor.
The complete restoration included:
- • Abatement
- • Fine carpentry work on coffered ceiling
- • Historically sensitive plaster repairs
- • Refinishing of all work
- • Replaced broken wood panels with hand-planed new panels to match original
- • Design/build ten-ton air-conditioning system
- • Audio-visual system integration
- • Project range $250,000
